Connie Lai

Principal Speech and Language Pathologist

Connie is from Hong Kong and has been practising as a Speech and Language Pathologist since 1993 in Hong Kong, Singapore and currently in Johor, Malaysia. She has vast clinical experience in special school, hospital and private settings. She earned her Bachelor of Applied Science in Speech Pathology from La Trobe University, Australia. Connie has a clinical interest in the assessment and treatment of young children with speech-language delays, Speech Sound Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorder. She was involved in ReachMe project in ARC (Singapore). Connie believes in empowering parents to support their child’s potential through meaningful and enjoyable engagement. Her enthusiasm and encouraging nature helps her to build a strong rapport with children and their families. Connie loves art, drama and literature. Her 6 years experience of being a Speech and Drama Teacher (under Trinity and Guildhall) inspires her to incorporate drama, art and music in her therapy session. She strongly believes that all forms of art promotes joy, communication, interaction and wellbeing of a child.
