Connie Lai
Principal Speech and Language Pathologist
Connie is a dedicated Speech and Language Pathologist from Hong Kong, with extensive experience since 1993 across Hong Kong, Singapore, and currently Johor, Malaysia. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Speech Pathology from La Trobe University, Australia.
Connie has worked in diverse clinical settings, including special schools, hospitals, and private practices. She has a strong clinical interest in the assessment and treatment of young children with speech-language delays, Speech Sound Disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Her involvement in the ReachMe project at ARC (Singapore) further reflects her commitment to early intervention and evidence-based practice.
Passionate about empowering parents, Connie believes in supporting each child’s potential through meaningful, joyful engagement. Her warmth and encouraging nature help her build strong connections with children and their families.
With a background in the arts, Connie enjoys integrating drama, art, and music into her therapy sessions. Her six years of experience as a Speech and Drama Teacher (Trinity and Guildhall Program) continue to inspire her practice. She firmly believes that all forms of art foster communication, interaction and emotional wellbeing in children.
